Ce matin, quelle surprise et quelle frayeur en entendant des petits cris inhabituels dans le jardin .
Ce jeune écureuil faisait le jeu d'une chatte ...Traumatisé, nous avons pu le soustraire des griffes de celle-ci . Après examen et quelques caresses, nous sommes allés le déposer dans son milieu naturel 😇

J'ai eu l'immense joie d'en croiser 3 sur mon chemin.
1 qui sautait de branche en branche et 2 autres pareil mais ils jouaient ensemble 😊.
C'est tellement rare par chez moi.
Alors, lorsque j'en vois -et pas 1 seul mais 3-, c'est un événement pour moi 😇 et ça me rend heureuse...
Même si je n'ai pu les observer (suivre) que 10-15 secondes...

I had the immense joy of coming across 3 of them on my way.
1 who jumped from branch to branch and 2 others the same but they played together 😊.
It's so rare in my area.
So, when I see them - and not just 1 but 3 - it's an event for me 😇 and it makes me happy...
Even though I was only able to observe (follow) them for 10-15 seconds...

……A Bacchus Pitcher by Minton, circa 1840. A busy day today so grabbed a shot of this half man half goat with a couple of mates as my iPhoneaday 365 shot - I hope he won’t mind me cropping off his goatish bit!! Well done Mr Minton too, a fine pitcher it is too. Alan:-)……..

Chauna torquata. C’est un oiseau de grande taille, environ 75cm du bec à la queue, qui ressemble à une espèce de paon avec une crête, un petit bec et un collier de plumes claires au cou. Les pattes sont robustes et longues de couleur rosée. Il est capable de voler très haut pendant plusieurs heures, mais c’est également un très bon marcheur et nageur.
