Invicta 8926ob mod, with Fifty-Five Fathoms dial from Jake/Dagaz Watches, gold mercedes hands from Clark (nostalgia-2000 on eBay) and a domed acrylic crystal.

Testing My Minolta X300, Which I took a big risk and bought from a car boot sale for £20, with four lenses and a flashgun, the person selling was going digital.

Put the camera in AP, so it had a lot of contrast to cope with.

Bokeh is from a Tokina 24mm~50mm Lens @ 50mm.

Film is Agfa Vista 200ASA cost £1.00.

Scanned from Negative Veho Scanner.

Film can save you Time! I needed to just tweak the Midtones and add a boarder.

I am pleased with this camera at least it works ok.

Full fathom five my goggles lay;

Of its lenses are barnacles made;

Nothing of it...but doth suffer a sea-change.

I just can't fathom why U.K. retailers haven't cottoned onto the excellent Welly 1/64 range as a fantastic compliment to the usual Mattel and HTI sourced stuff especially as their larger scale stuff is much easier to find! I now have to source the vast majority of my newer castings from Bulgaria but back in 2015 I could get a steady supply from Toyland and also a little from both 99p Stores and Smyths Toys. Its hard not to be impressed by their accuracy and levels of detailing especially for the budget price and with a range which is virtually 100% licensed they really need to be exposed to a much wider audience! I managed to get a few more of these BMW MINI Cooper models when my local Toyland stores were sadly selling off the last of their stocks of 1/64 Welly back in very late 2015 early 2016. Its a pretty old casting now but seems to get fairly regular colour updates especially to the roof design and as the real MK1 BINI is still a very common sight on our roads its still a relevant model. Well cast, nicely detailed and features these newer alloy effect wheels. Mint and boxed.
