From the Saturday Sherlock meetup. This silly version of the group photo is much more accurate to how this fandom really is.
Happy New Year! Once again we celebrated the arrival of a new year in the charming Rittergut Haus Laer in Germany, hosted by Tani and Nightfox and a wondrous constellation of friends old and new!

Madison W's depiction of several characters from Erin Hunter's Warriors series. Here's how she described the painting: The cat in the sky is Swiftpaw, a brave young apprentice who fought with Brightheart (then Brightpaw, bottom right with spots) against a pack of vicious dogs that plagued ThunderClan. Brightheart escaped with only one half of her face, but Swiftpaw lost his life. Cloudtail (bottom left, white with blue eyes) supported Brightheart as she was recovering from her injuries and eventually became her faithful mate. They had a daughter and granddaughters. In the Warriors fandom, people often speculate that Brightheart and Swiftpaw would have ended up being mates had Swiftpaw not been killed by the dogs.
In this picture, I imagine Brightheart and Cloudtail being the perfect mates to each other while Swiftpaw, above in StarClan, laments his own arrogance and what he lost as a result of it.
