Maple leaves in Autumn

I saw something move in the leaves quite a distance away so I kept an eye on it and zoomed in with the camera. I still couldn't see it to know what it was, thought it was a fly but when I uploaded the files to the computer I saw that it was a tiny black jumping spider. Even now when I know where it is it takes awhile to find it! Thank you for taking time from your busy day to view, fave and comment on my images. It is always appreciated.

How quickly the seasons change....gathered these Fall leaves in 72 degree weather on a Wednesday and by Saturday we had our first snow.

I was inspired recently to try a still life shot. So I gathered some leaves from around the neighborhood and composed this one.

It isn't happy people who are thankful, It is thankful people who are happy

Another one I almost used was this one:

Those who are happiest never did have everything.

But rather, they are thankful for everything they do have.

Not a lot of water flowing due to a dry late summer and fall. During wet periods water would be flowing across all the river bed in the right side of the frame.
