One last elk pic to buy me some time on processing my crane shots... photo edited to mask ear tags.

The leaves turned early this fall, and by the time of this late-October outing to Garden of the Gods in southern Illinois there was little color left.

This photo was taken in 2013 during my previous Project 365…please visit my album for this “REMASTERED” Project 365 as I revisit each day of 2013 for additional photos to share!!

 

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

Early autumn colour along the Thames

The brick walk way at the National Museum of the Pacific War Complex in Fredericksburg, TX. A marvelous complex and beautiful grounds in which to walk. I also loved the beautiful Fall leaves.

In the Northern Hemisphere, it always occurs around December 21 or 22. (In the Southern Hemisphere, it is around June 20 or 21.) This date is considered to be the first day of Winter.

The trees have started to shed their leaves in earnest.
