I have been watching this tree for over the past years. Its position has not changed. The tree is very resilient.

This tree appears to be in the process of falling. In years past, I've encountered trees that fallen across the trail. They are quickly removed by the workers who maintain this trail.

This tree has been growing for years sideways from the water’s edge almost parallel with the water and is still thriving. So much green.

Same tree, different angle

This lone tree on the edge of Lake Wyeba on the sunshine Coast is becoming more and more famous. I've never shot it before so when I went to the sunshine Coast this week for a break I decided that it was a must shoot. While I didn't get any gorgeous sunrise clouds I was grateful to be there in the peace and quiet listening to the bird song as they woke to another glorious day. I was a wonderful way to begin the day.

Lean on me when you're not strong

And I'll be your friend

I'll help you carry on

For it won't be long

'Til I'm gonna need

Somebody to lean on

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, does it still make a sound?

This tree house in a huge eucalyptus tree was a hangout near my neighborhood while I was growing up. When I was a teenager the land was being cleared for apartment buildings and I learned the tree was being cut down. I grabbed some friends and my camera to capture the moment and tell the story. I like the Schwinn Stingrays and the Schwinn Wasp (Newsboy Bike).

Trees starting to bud but some fell due to recent high winds. Eventually we paddled to the opposite side of this gorgeous island to view the sunset through the trees that I will post later.
