Ok, I'm doing something different here and posting some photos from a recent trip to Bosnia and Croatia that are not the best photos, but what the hell.
Cafe Adler was a common location for informant exchanges during the war. The upstairs flats were all occupied by people who were later found out to be CIA ops. A building just down the street in East Berlin was filled with KGB spies also posing as civilians.

This was taken from the ferris wheel...these are the bier tents...which aren't really tents...more like HUGE temporary buildings that hold thousands of people.
i really miss it back home. that would actually be my dad and my dog.
one of my fillings came out last night, and i NEED to go to the dentist today. i'm really nervous b/c i'm a poor college student in a still unfamiliar city, and the closest one to my school received horrible reviews! agh! :(
we were rejected from the Fire Apes show because the door man was not in the mood to negotiate, so KK and I went back to C and A's, got drunk, watched Sex and the City, and danced.
