I'm working on both Rose (Feeple60 Rona) and O'Carollan (Delf Breakaway 2008).
Rose is actually almost done, though it is hard to tell here. The photo has washed out a lot of the colour on her face. She just needs gloss and pearlizer.
O'Carollan just got started on today. I grabbed him, on a whim. He's been waiting for a faceup for months now, so I sprayed him and did his eyebrows. When that was going well, I added a bit of shading to his lips, inner eye rims and around eyes/lids. Then, I sprayed him to seal.
I had to step away though, 'cause I'm tired and hungry, and paranoid that I'll screw them both up, if I go any further today. :P
My daughter requested a new face for her doll Pinky. :) She decided that Pinky should have a monster face, like "Scar Lady" otherwise known as Frankie Stein (monster high doll).
She wanted a scar on her eye, a scar on her face, and blood on her nose. I skipped the blood part... I wasn't sure I could do it so that it would look like blood and not just like Pinky stuck her nose in red paint. I was also unsure as to why she would have blood on her nose.... my daughter was slightly sleepy when she told me the details of the faceup she wanted. :)
I think Pinky turned out rather well.
It is not easy to work on such a small face!
