I photographed this black-faced grosbeak on my recent trip to Panama. The species is found throughout much of Central America, from southern Mexico south to western Panama; it is replaced in eastern Panama and in northern and eastern South America by a related species, Yellow-green Grosbeak.
According to the Cornell Lab, "their diet is varied, including insects, fruits and seeds, and nectar. Their nest is a shallow bowl, which may be attended by up to three or four adult Black-faced Grosbeaks."

I was on my way to the Law Courts of Brussels (to do some perspective drawing), when I came across this lovely class waiting for the KMSKB to get open.
So many funny faces!!!
When I was little I looked a lot like the girl in front with the darkblue coat. I was also pretty good in the BUUH look when my parents wanted to take some pictures.
I guess I'm still good at the BUUH-look..
Here's the face of Osaka Castle. Those are tigers, not kitties.
The original construction was ordered by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1583, and was completed in 1598. In 1615, the Toyotomi clan was defeated and the Tokugawa clan took over, but the castle was destroyed in the process. Reconstruction began in the 17th century. In the 19th century, repairs were also needed after decades of neglect left the castle in a terrible state. And finally, restoration took place in the 20th century after conflict in the Meiji Restoration and bombing raides during the war.

My name is Maciek, my friends called me "Magic". I lost my hearing in medical accident when I was 10years old. I'm from Poland and love travelling across the world. I found my happiness in 2014 when came to the Burning Man 1st time. From that moment I have been an integral part of Burners community. Here, from this place I want to share with you all part of my life, portraits of friends, the best moments...
Another face, (are you sick of them yet?) l bought a new rubber stamp to try on the clay, so made another face lol! Went a bit overboard with the scarf.
couldn't get a "normal" face out of her, but I do love how her nose crinkles at the bridge like that

Two days later. Most things are healing quickly. My leg road-rash is nearly gone. I was able to remove the head bandages today. The left ear is still mighty-swollen, and the stitches provide an odd sensation.
We'll see. I've been canceling job interviews because I don't quite think I'm "presentable" at the moment.
Spoiler Alert: Face of Another, the 1966 Japanese New Wave film directed by Hiroshi Teshigahara, was tough to sit through. I had a camera hidden on my lap and was able to snap some shots of the screen which made the 2+ hours more bearable.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou know-est not... Ephesians 6:12 : For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Not everyone is going to be able to make out these faces because they're vague, and they are blending in with the clouds so well, but if you look hard enough, the Lord may open your spiritual eyes and you can see them...They can be very hard to recognize, because they make themselves obscure, by camouflaging themselves in the clouds. Don't leave this world without our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the most important decision you will ever make... Because it is an everlasting eternal decision. Heaven and earth will pass-away, but God is everlasting.
