On April 21, 2012 at Sodexo HQ, a local group of high school students held an event for Global Youth Service Day to raise awareness and funds to help end childhood hunger. Montgomery County, Maryland Public Schools was recently awarded a grant from YSA and Sodexo Foundation to support this activity. In addition to the 25 students and many parent volunteers, Sodexo had about 20 employees volunteering and staffing the event with support from anti-hunger organizations including Share Our Strength and Manna Food Center. Thank you for making it such a success!
