We had a nice setup where we kept cool. See Allison inside the tent! We would have been busier if we had been on the street or closer to the kids area...but we had a nice steady crowd all day.

This one was taken last year at the community centre Olivia volunteers at. They had a fun day and she got painted. Normally I refuse to pay for face painting, but this was free! Yay!
Just playing with some new face paint designs. I should spend more time perfecting the ones I already do but I like to try something new. I'm not sure about my yellow eyebrows - lol.
based off of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin photo. There is strong emotion displayed by the painted on face, and the face hiding behind the mask. I made the mask out of eyeliner, paint, and maker. I also placed a spotlight on the subject to get a thick shadow behind or to the side of her to create dimensions.
Loved the lighting and back wall at the Clementine Cafe. Definitely one of the best venues I've ever taken photos in.
