Had a fun evening with "yokamerat", the university camera club. Hanging out and practicing photographing with studio lighting. Some of the partakers agreed to have their faces painted.

This little girl originally wanted to be Rapunzel and then when I said I wasn't sure how to do that she wanted me to make her whole face into a horse. Perhaps in the future I will be skilled enough to carry that off. I talked her into an angel on the bridge of her nose, and she was thrilled.
I took this photo in 2011. I wanted to take a new Facebook profile picture, and I had just discovered Neoplasticism, so I decided to marry the two ideas. After throwing a tablecloth over my shower door for a backdrop, pulling out my father's fluorescent light tube from the basement, and painting my face with dollar store acrylic paint, the result was this. It was created with no intention of being good, which is why I think it's one of my best. (It's also my favourite photograph!)
