Man In The Box
Im the man in the box
Buried in my shit
Wont you come and save me, save me
Feed my eyes, can you sew them shut?
Jesus christ, deny your maker
He who tries, will be wasted
Feed my eyes now youve sewn them shut
Im the dog who gets beat
Shove my nose in shit
Wont you come and save me, save me

TFL London Bus Route 7 uses Volvo Wright Gemini 3 Hybrid (Diesel-Electric) Double Decker buses, operated from Perivale East Bus Garage (PV).
Today was the second day of service for some Gemini 3’ Hybrid Double deckers. This batch was originally destined for the 17, however the 17 is currently now receiving the LK14 reg VWH buses originally on the 7. Photographed at East Acton Brunel Estate.

I had an 4-axle platform in my collection for quite a long time. First version appeared in July 2010 as a leftover part creation (www.flickr.com/photos/maciej_drwiega/4843457809/in/datepo...).
One or two years ago I redesigned it. Yesterday I thought it needs yet another facelifting. The Rs is pretty much the same as Roos so it needs to match when it comes to dimensions. So I added 10 more studs, reworked the front walls and supporting frame. Here it goes.
I definitely need one or two more of them.
The problem I might have is that storing 3-4 waggons 48 (effectively) studs long each require really long side tracks. But this is a topic for another story ;)
Fully developed and all-electric: the BMW iX3 is already giving the future an electrifying presence.

Not my photo! It belongs to my Flickr friend Stephen Rees. He took it in Alberta, then realized after printing it, that the rocks were covered in graffiti! I cloned it out for him and posted it here so he could download, but he suggested I leave it up, to show the before and after. Stephen's original is in comments.

As you can see without a rear window and badging this particular car was looking a tad tired but had signs of being in the midst of a restoration.
Some months later i passed by it and it seemed to have had a rear window fitted.
This is the 1978 facelifted version, with quad headlights and big bumpers, under the bonnet is a sluggish water-cooled 48hp 4cyl diesel from the Rabbit. Regardless of its plentiful flaws the robust and angular body shape is a design i can't get enough of.
