Depuis mon enfance, le dessin a toujours été une passion, mais lorsque j'ai découvert la photographie, j'ai pensé que l'association de ces deux passions pourrait me permettre de laisser libre court à mon imagination.
Dans cette serie "L'esquisse d'une vie", j'ai voulu illustrer ma vie, comme si mes croquis avaient donné naissance à chacun de ses actes; soit par l'intervention de personne qui me sont proches (comme par exemple dans "sketch your mentor" avec l'intervention de ma grand mère qui m'a appris le dessin), ou encore des événements qui on été importants pour moi (comme dans "sketch the life" avec la naissance de ma fille "Cataleya"), mais également avec des choses un peu plus humoristique (dans "Catch & Sketch" par exemple avec l'intervention de mon ami Cal Redback, mais aussi "sketch and fight" avec la collaboration de Ben Heine, qui dévoile un combat de deux artistes avec chacun sa technique)
Since my childhood, drawing has always been a passion, but when I discovered photography, I thought that the combination of these two passions would allow me to give free rein to my imagination.
In this series "The sketch of a life", I wanted to illustrate my life, like my sketches gave birth to each of his actions or by the intervention of someone I are close (for exemple in "sketch your mentor" with the intervention of my grandmother who taught me in the drawing), or events that have been important to me (like in "sketch the life" with the birth my daughter "Cataleya"), but also with something a little more humorous (in "Catch & Sketch" for example with the intervention of my friend Cal Redback, or in "sketch and fight" with the artist Ben Heine, where you can see the battle of two artists with each his technique)

This photo is for my cousin, someone too close in my heart. He is a young lad who sadly was diagnosed with a rare disease and early Monday morning he joined our creator in the heavens :(
I have never felt much, much pain.

Maybe you're looking at us from up above, with Him.
And everyday you wake up in a paradise,
a place where there is no pain,
no sickness,
no sadness.
A place where you are most loved.
It was too early and sudden. I am not sure if I have gone through the stages of grieving correctly.
It all felt like a dream, a really bad dream and I only wish for is to be awaken.
My dearest, this photo is for you. Not a form of farewell. NO!!! I won't ever say goodbye, for you will always be in our hearts. Always <3

Day 110 of 365 days.
I feel lonely a lot even if I am in a crowded room full of people. Last night, I just cried because I keep wishing I would be noticed by people. So I end up sitting alone sometimes to give myself time to think.
Today was seriously foggy all day!!! It was so weird. Today twas pretty nice. Just same ol' day. So glad it's finally thanksgiving break because I am rather annoyed with my school....
I know I wish I would get more complaints sometimes on my photos, but I truly appreciate everyone who takes the time to say something nice about my pictures everyday<3

The last few times I have been out have been a struggle with light. A few days ago, ugh, nothing but haze and over cast skies, where I personally love blue skies with foliage. Today, I laid around on the ground waiting for the sun to cast light on the green leaves as well as the orange but with the clouds, that just didn't happen.
Hopefully next time ;-)
If I get around to the fussy work- sooner or later I will likely lighten this up..

Lately I’m thinking why do I keep photos all to myself? Same questions I have asked myself over and over again, promised to share more and have broken such promises more often than ever. I shoot photos all the time – from weddings, to portraits, to personal pieces- but never fully feel the need to share it for the world to see.
I don’t know if anyone can ever relate but there’s this fear that my “art” might not be appreciated. Not liked. That it is and was NOT ever good enough. This photo in particular was taken last May, from another epic collaboration with brilliant creatives that I’m blessed to know; most especially the one and only Master Mang Tacio. I wanted to convey how we perceive reality, where is up after all? This concept isn’t new per se but it is new for me, to try things I haven’t tried before. But it has taken me so long to go over this image because yes, the same fear crept in.
I want to start a day where I let go of those fears and finally embrace what I am capable of.
Probably this would be the start, I hope.

I spent a good few hours watching a group of Gannets tearing up the bank on the edge of the cliff ripping the long grass out and flying off with it for nesting material, I sneaked up on this one but it spotted me and gave me the Gannet Stare! ;)
