I really liked the way the Bass Player's face created a progression of its own.

These birds are incredibly iridescent! They don't have the white face in the winter but I enjoyed the light and how it made the colors pop.

Scarlet-faced Liocichla is a colourful member of the Laughingthrushes and allies family (Leiothrichidae). The eBird description of this species says it is “furtive and shy, typically foraging in dense undergrowth,” so were lucky to see several of these birds at a feeding station high on a remote ridge in the Doi Lang area of Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, which is in Chiang Mai province, Thailand.
