ramé-hart fabricates a variety of custom coaxial and triaxial needles for a wide spectrum of special applications. Some of customers use ramé-hart coaxial needles for specialized surface science measurements (such as measuring surface dilatational elasticity and viscosity, surface tension on drops and bubbles, and mixing liquids at the point of measurement). Coaxial and triaxial needles are also used in the production of nanofibers made by electrospinning applications. The needles have excellent electrical conductivity. Note that the coaxial needle is often referred to as a coaxial cone when used in electrospinning and electrospraying applications due to the cone observed at the tip where fiber is drawn out from what is referred to as the "Taylor cone". For more information see: www.ramehart.com/coaxial_needles.htm.

Remarks: The monument commemorates Civil War dead and was commissioned by the Oconee Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy at a cost of $4,000. The contract was awarded to the Cordele Marble Company in April 1908. The monument was originally scheduled to be installed on Jackson Street and the foundation was initially placed there. However, a lawsuit was initiated to change the location, and the contractor, L. C. Huffman, dug up the foundation. The monument was installed at its current site in April 1909, but the sponsors were unable to complete payment on it, and it was kept veiled for three years before finally being dedicated on April 26, 1912. House III, 1997 (fabricated 2002)
Roy Lichtenstein, American, 1923–1997
Painted and fabricated aluminum
High Museum of Art
Woodruff Arts Center
Atlanta, Georgia
Among Pop icon Roy Lichtenstein’s last subjects was the image of the suburban American home. The smaller-than-life sculpture House III evolved from Lichtenstein’s large-scale Interior paintings of the early 1990s and from work that revived his interest in playing with perspective. Exploring inverted perspective and symbolically complex messages of housing and shelter, the corner of the piece appears to project forward toward the viewer. However, by walking around the work one sees that the corner actually recedes and that the eye has been fooled.

This beautiful stones helps to strengthen intuition and psychic perception and brings balance and harmony with the Al. Linked with the Energy of the moon, moonstone has always been the stone of love and lovers. In Eastern and Middle Eastern countries, a moonstone is offered as a “blessing” to ensure a large family and encourage fertility. It is said that moonstone is most potent when used in a full moon. It is said to have the power to grant wishes.
Diana is the Roman Goddess of the woodlands, wild animals and of the hunt. In ancient times as Rome's contact grew with Greece, Diana was more and more identified with the Goddess Artemis. In time the two Goddesses became virtually identical, though in modern times she is usually identified as "Diana".
As a true Triple Goddess her nature was a varied as her many aspects. She could be pure and virginal, maternal and loving, or arrogant and vengeful. She is as changeable and unpredictable as nature. Sculptors sometimes created statues of her with three heads: those of a horse, a dog, and a boar. Such statues were displayed at places where three roads met.
The most celebrated place of worship for Diana was a sacred grove beside Lake Nemi, at Aricia near Rome.

Scientists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are developing materials and techniques used to fabricate solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). At the fuel cell labs located in the Applied Process Engineering Laboratory, a PNNL researcher dispenses a sealant onto an individual fuel cell using a commercial robotic arm. The sealant, composed of a PNNL-developed glass powder and a commercial binder system, is used to seal individual cells to one another to form stacks. The goal is to assemble a 60-cell stack to generate 5 kilowatts of energy.
