A few test snapshots with the very inexpensive manual focus Neewer 25mm f1.8 lens. Most at around f8.
Strong shadows, golden light and textures galore. I waited around for someone to enter this scene, but once they did I decided I actually preferred this photo as an urban landscape. This is the architecture on the outside of the Ben Youssef Mosque in Marrakesh.

From the 1958 zebra Auto-Takumar 55/1.8 to the 1972, final M42 SMC Takumar 55/1.8. These are the main Takumar 55mm f1.8 lens versions. Plus the other two Auto-Takumar 55mm lenses with their cocking levers and front aperture rings: the f2 and f2.2.
The Auto-Takumar's have 10 blades and go to f22. The Super to SMC Takumars have 6 blades, going to f16.
They all take amazing images, all slightly differently.
The zebra Takumar is attached to the famous 1958 Pentax "K" camera, a pioneer in terms of SLR cameras.

Z 85mm f1.8S as a sports/action lens? yes! replaces the common choice 70-200 f2.8 if mostly used at the wide end of the zoom range. Fast focus, lighter, and f1.8 could be useful in dawn/dusk stages.
I've pulled together this collection over many years. Four versions of the Takumar 55mm f1.8, from left to right:
Super-Takumar 55/1.8
Auto-Takumar 55/1.8 on a K
SMC Takumar 55/1.8 on a Spotmatic SP II
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 55/1.8
The 55/1.8 zebra version being is the oldest and rarest lens, and a different design (with more blades and more stops) than the others.
