Wills Eye Hospital provided 2,000 pairs of free solar eclipse viewing glasses this morning. All of the glasses were gone by 10:00 a.m.

The first person in line arrived at 4:30 a.m. and was interviewed by several local TV stations. The line wound around the four corners, encompassing the hospital at Ninth and Walnut Streets.

A diverse group of individuals stood in line, reading, listening to music, taking selfies and attending to their pets, as they killed time before receiving their glasses.

Wills Eye Hospital was recently honored among the best Eye Hospitals in the country by U.S. News and World Reports: Best Hospitals.

Nina - meaning ‘pretty eyes’, is an alluring beauty from Puglia, Italy. She loves travelling the world and experiencing what life has to offer. The Nina style is an elegant but soft cat-eye shape.

I was reminded by my sister that 15 year old helmets provide no protection, so I went out and purchased a new helmet. In this case, I spent more than I normally would have and got the Giro Pneumo, sporting the Performance Bike colors. I also got better eye protection than my standard, everyday glasses. The eye protection is the Cat-1 Prologue with photochromatic lenses. The eye protection came with 2 sets of lenses, the ones you see here, and a photochromatic orange set.

I'm about to use this stuff for the first time in a few minutes as I head out the door to do a quick 20 mile ride.

No need for the shades today, call this summer? I was sitting in the B&Q car park in Newport and thinking what a dull old day it has been. My sun gasses just sitting on the dash of my Vee Dub just waiting to make me look cool.

Then I thought, if you wear shades to make you look cool when it is hot do you wear shades to make you look hot when it's cool.
