I am the worst when it comes to taking photographs of my art. I mean really just the absolute worst. I tried 4 different locations to try to get a straight-on shot of this piece and took a dozen shots with different settings at each of the 4 shoots and they all came out unusable, even with editing. To be fair, this piece is especially hard to photograph because of the metallic nature of the pattern/leaves. Anyhow, here is a photo of the piece taken from a spot about 45 degrees to the left of facing straight on.

Two frisky pollen beetles, no bigger than grains of rice, play hide & seek among the strap-like ray florets of a Dandelion, whose name is derived from the French for 'Lion's Teeth' - because of its distinctive jagged leaves

I haven't quite got the shots of this new addition to the London skyline that I want yet. Partly because one of the cranes is still up and they are still doing all the landscaping. They had better get a move on. It's due to open on the 17th June.
The Admiralty Extension overlooking Horse Guards Parade, the largest of the Admiralty Buildings, was begun in the late 19th century and redesigned while the construction was in progress to accommodate the extra offices needed by the naval arms race with the German Empire. It has been used by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from the 1960s to 2016.
Horse Guards Parade was formerly the site of the Palace of Whitehall's tiltyard, where tournaments were held in the time of Henry VIII. It was also the scene of annual celebrations of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth I. The area has been used for a variety of reviews, parades and other ceremonies since the 17th century. It was once the Headquarters of the British Army. The Duke of Wellington was based in Horse Guards when he was Commander-in-Chief of the British Army. The current General Officer Commanding London District still occupies the same office and uses the same desk. Wellington also had living quarters within the building, which today are used as offices.

A portrait in different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. How we appear is just a question of light.
The first one (left) is infrared, we can't see it with our eyes. The picture in the middle is normal light, as we see our daily world. The last one (right) is ultraviolet, it is as well a color which is beyond the limits of the human vision.
