From an aesthetic standpoint we prefer a bio-mechanical look, while from an industrial standpoing we conceive of the jont being produced in rapid prototyping and made available via ftp download (or as actual parts from Shapeways) as an open source, low-cost method of space formation for rapid deployment.
The manufacturing of the joint could be via low-tech sand casting, direct to metal rapid prototyping or via more mass-production technologies. With one simple, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) we can optimize the joint for an active performative connection for its respective location and function.

The idea here would be to have a relatively simple, logotype-based idea with an asterisk at the end.
I kept thinking of the asterisk as the visual representation of the 'ding' sound in MS Windows when a critical error has occured.
I thought, given our audience, that this could be an effective visual metaphor for when someone's knowledge and capacity for action has been exhausted and they need to call in some help.
It's also very extensible. The asterisk could be a bright color like a kelly green or orange and be reused on it's own as an icon.

The shaggy frogfish, Antennarius hispidus, is a marine fish in the family Antennariidae.
The shaggy frogfish grows up to 20 cm (7.9 in) in length. Like other members of its family,it has a globulous, extensible body, and its soft skin is covered with small dermal spinules. The skin can also be adorned, but not systematically, with cutaneous appendages reminding one of hairs. Its large mouth is prognathous and allows it to gobble up prey as large as it.
The coloring of their bodies is extremely variable because they always tend to match their living environments. Frogfishes have the capacity to change coloration and pigment pattern in few weeks. However, the dominant coloration goes from yellow to brownish-orange, passing through a whole range of related nuances. Their bodies and fins can be endowed with roughly parallel, dark stripes, some radiating outward from the eye. The belly is free from stripes.
The first dorsal spine, called illicium, is modified and is used as a fishing lure. Its extremity is endowed with a characteristic oval esca composed of a multitude of slender filaments in a tuft. This lure is a way to separate easily A. hispidus from Antennarius striatus, which presents similar physical characteristics (stripes, coloration, cutaneous appendages)and with which it is often confused. The illicium has the same length as the second dorsal spine. The second dorsal spine is practically straight and is mobile, and the third one is bent towards the back of the body.

The Hegne series consists of very deep, poorly drained soils that formed in clayey calcareous lacustrine sediments on glacial lake plains. These soils have slow or very slow permeability. They have slopes of 0 to 2 percent. Mean annual precipitation is about 20 inches. Mean annual air temperature is about 42 degrees F.
TAXONOMIC CLASS: Fine, smectitic, frigid Typic Calciaquerts
The thickness of the mollic epipedon ranges from 7 to 16 inches. These soils have free carbonates in all parts with calcium carbonate equivalent of 10 to 30 percent throughout. The higher values are in the calcic horizon. The depth to the calcic horizon is less than 16 inches. Typically most pedons do not have rock fragments. The particle-size control section ranges from 40 to 60 percent noncarbonate clay, with an average of 50 percent and less than 15 percent fine sand coarser. The average linear extensibility is estimated to be about 10.7 centimeters in the upper 40 inches.
USE AND VEGETATION: Nearly all of these soils are cultivated. Principal crops are small grains and sugar beets. Native vegetation is tall grass prairie.
DISTRIBUTION AND EXTENT: Principally in the Red River Valley of northwestern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota, also in smaller glacial lake basins in western Minnesota and north-central North Dakota. These soils are extensive.
The classification of these soils is in question as to whether they should be in the Typic or Aeric subgroup of Calciaquerts. This needs further investigation. This series was previously classified in the Typic Calciaquolls subgroup.

Casa entre mitgeres i fent cantonada, composta de planta baixa i pis. Superfície de façana dividida en trams per línies motllurades horitzontals i segmentades verticals. El portal és d'arc de mig punt, dovellat, i presenta una inscripció superior. Al primer pis destaquen els balcons, d'un sol portal. Hi ha també una finestra lateral amb marc, ampit i llindes de pedra i una altra inferior amb barana que resulta destacable. El coronament és de terrat amb reixa. Es tracta d'un conjunt d'habitatges de valor tipològic (INVENTARI, 1986: 27). A la façana hi té sobreposat un rellotge de sol que està completament esborrat (MORATÓ I VIA, 1992a).
El conjunt es complementa per les construccions que hi ha ocupant el solar de l'altre costat del carrer, on, per cert hi ha un mil·liari romà, que no ens va ser mostrat.
Observacions: Aquesta casa forma tot un conjunt d'interès arquitectònic de caire netament urbà. Davant la casa hi ha la pallissa, també de valor patrimonial, on es troba un mil·liari romà.
La casa presenta un valor arquitectònic indubtable, que no te sentit sense la valoració de l'entorn urbà. Aquest valor es fa extensible també al subsòl, ja que es molt probable la presència d'elements de vàlua arqueològica, com poden ser sitges, de les quals es coneix per informació oral la seva presència en tota aquesta zona de Les Gunyoles.
També per informació oral se sap que el gruix de molts dels seus murs es potent, per la qual cosa alguns dels seus antics habitants pensaven que devien formar un conjunt amb les restes romanes de la torre que es troba a prop.
