Expression is what takes music beyong the actual notes on the page. Composers added these musical expressions to tell readers what they intended the feeling of the piece was when it was written. It is still up to the player how to interpret this in a personal way.
Maestoso is one of numerous Italian terms that came into use during the renaissance period. Italian because so many of the important composers of the era were Italian. Today, much of the popular music published in North America uses English translations of these terms, but in classical music circles, the Italian expressions are generally still prevalent.
It takes about a minute to get to it, but here is a link to a rendition of this well know portion of the Pomp & Circumstances Marches by Edward Elgar with words by Arthur Benson, sung by Vera Lynn:

How did I learn this ? Where did I learn this? All questions can be answered at here. I am very agreed by what Jerry Chionis, meanwhile I am a big fans of Louis Pang of course.
Every Thursday, I will try my best to give myself sometimes to read his new published tips. Not only in photography, but also how to live it with passion with photography, which matter the most.
He quoted, " We can be overly concerned about posing perfectly that we forget that great expression beats perfection on any given day." I can't agreed more, in fact the expression always come to my priority shot and I know it ain't easy to deal with, not to mentioned to master it in a proper way. Candid shots can be expression, but to be with soul in it, it has to pay lot more effort to get it right.
I just got my recent ROM's photos and most of the candid shots have its soul come along, and I am very impressed. I hope one day I could be the Photo Journalism.

I met these kids at the threshold of a temples near Pahalgam. I favourite is obviously the girl in the left whose making the bruce lee expressions.
This model reminded me of Jim Carrey. I was going to do a book for very young kids showing different human expressions. Hence all the models making funny/weird faces.
This was once a great location for street art but, as is the case elsewhere in the city, the quality has declined over the last few years.
The built environment in Dublin is changing faster than I can photograph the changes and there is an area on South Richmond Street that has caught me by surprise as many of the restaurants and shops have closed or disappeared.
Richmond Villas [now shown as Richmond Street South on Google Maps] was a place to visit if you were interested in Street Art but now it is dominated by a huge construction site [Charlemont Square where Amazon will be located] and I assume that the laneway will no longer exist once the building project has been completed and also because the Bernard Shaw pub will close before the end of this year [2019].
A few weeks ago I had a chat with one of the construction workers and he told me that one of the tower cranes was currently the tallest in the city and that more cranes would be added soon ... I counted five while I was talking to him.
Amazon employs more than 2,500 people in Ireland and announced plans last June to create another 1,000 jobs over the next two years, most of which will be located Dublin at Blanchardstown, Tallaght, North Count Dublin and the Portobello area of Dublin.
The Charlemont Square project is due to be completed in 2020. This mixed-use development is the second phase of a city centre regeneration project.
My understanding is that there will be a total 79 social housing units. There will also be 184 private residential units, bringing to 263 the total number of homes in the complex, in addition to significant commercial office space and retail units.

This was a pretty special Christmas night, for many reasons, not only because I got a chance to see Mkyg, Nate-san and Misa-chan (All very special) for a photo session at my place.
Nate-san was my driving inspiration to shoot portraits and models, and I wanted to see him shoot Misa-chan, not only did I get to see them shoot, but I got to shoot them myself. Mkyg helped make the mood wonderful with her lighting. Thanks for a great night.
ISO 80, 1/15th Sec, 1 Light Source, Shot in BW. This was shot naturally, they were being themselves, I never really asked them to pose.
