Here we had to create a peice that would compliment the learning resorce centre at our college. I chose to do an abstract background, with colours that compliment the green walls in the LRC, with a pop art inspired image in the forground of two people wispering. The message was to reiunforce the rule of being quiet within the LRC to prevent distractions to others, done in an artistic way.
Mixed media image created on paper using oil pastels, photographed, composite layering and printed on canvas.
inspired by Dragonforce. Extreme power metal
At the time I was heavily into Abstract Expressionism, I didnt give a shit about a point of view or a focal point to the peice. I wanted every cm of the painting to be as important as the rest. I wanted to create the movement and thougths of the listener, turn them into shapes and colours, the black being the red being the base of the music and the white being the kick ass guitar rifts with the black holding it all together.
