it's actually a wrong version of a roy lichtenstein explosion from the famous comic book series. done the wrong way it doesn't work visually.
lichtenstein is in fact perfect. perfect colors composition and art techniques and visual accuracy.
it was fun to do a wrong version just to see what the problems look like.

I took this picture with flash and at a speed of 1/200.
It's just water falling on a blue basket! But with some pressure it produces bubbles.

El suceso de Tunguska fue una explosión aérea de muy alta potencia ocurrida sobre las proximidades del río Podkamennaya en Tunguska (Evenkía, Siberia, Rusia) en la posición 60°55′N 101°57′E / 60.917, 101.95Coordenadas: 60°55′N 101°57′E / 60.917, 101.95 a las 7:17 del día 30 de junio de 1908.
El fenómeno de Tunguska alentó más de 30 hipótesis y teorías de lo ocurrido. La detonación, similar a la de un arma termonuclear de elevada potencia, ha sido atribuida a un cometa.[1] Debido a que no se ha recuperado ningún fragmento, se maneja la teoría de que fue un cometa formado por hielo. Al no alcanzar la superficie, no se produjo cráter o astroblema. Casi un siglo después se produciría no muy lejos el evento de Vitim, menos espectacular pero aún más extraño.

I haven't seen many cool Lego explosions in MOCs on the web, so I thought I'd try my luck at it.
I think it came out well.
We've been seeing our share of Chihuly glass his summer. Be it MOBOT or Crystal Bridges - it seems like it's everywhere. There were a number of installations at Crystal Bridges - be it in the lagoon previously shown, or here, up on one of the trails, in a boat - where of course glass belongs...
