Next to the Merrygoround is a showmans Scammel Explorer with a Gardener diesel supplying power for the ride....I'm a sucker for a Scammell

This Wedding Cake has gone as hand luggage to Montreal and will then go by road to Vermont for the wedding!

The sugarpaste lilies are arranged as a copy of the bouquet the bride will carry.

The cherry blossom and "little fat birds" round the sides were requested by the bride ... they are a copy of her favourite Japanese picture. The colours were purposely kept very pale to match the wedding colour scheme of coffee, chocolate and very pale pink.

Sugar pearl trim to match the pearls on her dress. Board trimmed in pale pink and coffee.

Rich fruit cake covered with marzipan and fondant icing.

I am presuming it crossed the Atlantic safely ... no news is good news!!

Semi-finished deep sea explorer poster. This is supposed to emulate the art-deco/nouveau style posters from the earlier part of the 20th century.

The Ice Explorer is a one-manned spaceship designed to convey planet survey from low orbit. It's powerful radar is able to map large areas of a planet in a single flight. Two containers allow the Ice Explorer to deploy on orbit up to two surveillance satellites or to recover damaged ones.

I want cold weather,

don't ask me why,

because I really have no idea why.

I haven't had a title in a while,

I'm just at a lose for titles right now.

I just want snow.

That's what I want.

Anyways,

everything looks better on my mac.

And "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button," is one of my new favorite movies.

I had the honour to take photos from a high ground rescue with the heroes from the Frölunda fire department. This was an exercise from an 80-meter high crane.

Please take a look at the other photos from the exercise in the album "high ground rescue".

This picture is black and white and the reason to that is that I wanted to give it the feeling from the wonderful pictures of the construction of New York skyscrapers.

This is my contribution to this week's theme “#soft” for the Swedish flickr group Photo Sunday.

I suppose technically 5 + 5 = 10, but I thought the symmetry of the numbers might look better than 4 + 1 or any other combination totalling 5!!

Another one of my friend, John's creative works of art, captured at sunset at Remic Rapids

on the Ottawa River! These sculptures are balanced with only other small stones, so they

are ever changing depending on the winds, weather etc. When they come down, John just

creates another "one of a kind"! (Best on black)
