My inspiration for this work is Ray www.flickr.com/photos/raisinsawdust/ who does the most amazing black and whites and even though this isn't really black and white, I wanted to give thanks to him for giving me inspiration through his amazing work. A sleepy lagoon
A tropical moon and two on an island
A sleepy lagoon
And two hearts in tune
In some lullaby land
The fireflies gleam
Reflect in the stream
They sparkle and shimmer
A star from on high

On my way to work this morning...this road is usually lined both ways with traffic, not sure what was going on today, but I so enjoyed the ride.

This is from a meetup with exposure.roanoke and this cutie was just sooo overwhelmed with the shoot!
Scotland is such a fascinating destination with its castles, highlands and historical cities!
This shot was clicked at Eilean Donan Castle during our summer trip for which we had great hopes of getting some pretty shots but unfortunately heavy rains and bad weather followed us everywhere we went. It is really tricky to get good shots when it is raining. Now, when I see photographs clicked at the same location with pretty sunshine, I feel so frustrated. :P
Besides that, we committed a blunder of joining a packaged tour and learned an important lesson that "Packaged tours are NOT for (even amateur) photographers." :D

A Great Place To Find What You Need!
When I first discovered the map, it was April 2014. That was documented in the last photo. Several months later, when November rolled around, I investigated and sure enough, the map was still hanging in there. I was warming up to the idea of eventually joining Flickr at this point, and took this picture to upload in place of the last one, which is admittedly very obstructed what with the lights reflecting everywhere on the directory's plastic slipcover casing. However, I ended up choosing to upload it anyway to document my first time encountering the relic.
Thanks everyone for all the favorites! Excited I made explore :)
