Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you didn’t plan.
We had every intention of heading down to Waterton, but the weather had other ideas. So we pivoted, stayed closer to home—and ended up here. Peaceful, quiet, and absolutely stunning. My favourite tucked-away little waterfall surrounded by snow-kissed moss and evergreens, reminding us that beauty doesn’t always come with a long drive or a big itinerary.
Sometimes the detour is the destination.

A wind-carved ridge snakes toward the sky, its stony spine catching the midday light while copper grasses flicker at the edges. I paused here, breath pulled thin by altitude and awe alike, and let the silence rumble louder than any city street, just the crunch of gravel under boot and a single cloud casting a drifting shadow across distant, blue-washed valleys. The trail feels less like ground and more like a thread stitching earth to atmosphere; each step invites you farther into the open, where the horizon is wide enough to hold every unfinished dream.
Went back to one of my favourite spots in Philadelphia, Wissahickon Valley Park. This place has some gorgeous scenes, and I can't believe I don't visit it frequently. That, though, is changing! Going back tomorrow to hit up Devil's Pool and a few other locations within the park. This place reminds me so much of LOST, so I make sure to get lost.
