One of the iconic pieces of art at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona is the Taliesin dragon. It took many photographs for me to get something that was decent enough to post. The sun was so bright and everywhere I stood, the sun was giving off lens flares all over my photos. I couldn’t see it was so bright. I managed to get one in the bright sun and knew the only way I could do it justice would be to high contrast it and give a silhouette of it.
Before we were even on to the island, you could see how much people lived the island life. Residents of Belize took their boats out in to the harbor and greeted the incoming tourists. While I hate the water, I would love to live on an island and be able to take a boat out on to the water and just be. I don't know how these people make a living, but dammit...they have a boat.
