Vancouver city lights reflecting on False creek. I was driving home from Whistler and got the bright idea to take a couple city shots. Next thing you know its 1am and I need to drive back to the Okanagan. Well worth it.

While on our trip in the rocky mountains of Alberta and British Columbia, we looked for the iconic mountain road that seems to go on forever.
I think we found a good one here. This is the road looking north, showing the way to get to Emerald Lake, BC.
It was a Thursday morning so you can imagine just how busy the road was.
Please excuse the cuts and scrapes on my hand, I learned just how much our new furry friend has a strong distaste for the vacuum cleaner.

A couple hour hike through some deep snow for this shot. Totally worth it though, who would know that this is in Vancouver?!
At the end of the Fraser Valley, the highway splits into two main routes north. These days, most people take the Coquihalla, but in days past Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon was the main route into Central and Northern British Columbia.
This canyon road still forms part of the Coast Mountain Circle Route, and if you’re looking for a road less travelled – which as Robert Frost advised is what makes “all the difference” – may we suggest you go against the grain and take the canyon route. www.hellobc.com/stories/the-road-less-travelled-bcs-frase...

I took a break from my camera for the last months. I had finally worked up the courage to contact a magazine about my photos, and unfortunately, just because I believe in something, not everyone else will. The photo world is a competitive one, though I did think I had images that were worth showcasing.
With the humble decline, I took the an art break and slowly feel myself wanting to capture the beautiful north again.
I have a lot of anxiety when using my drone, I know it can be super intrusive for people and often goes very unliked. I wanted to take some pictures of the fresh snow around carcross but couldn't sum up the courage to try with so many houses and onlookers. I wonder if anyone else feels this way or if its just my super bad anxiety haha!!
Thanks for all the kind comments about my head injury last year. I very much appreciated it.

Deep space over the Yukon wilderness. 🌌🌲
The conditions at the cabin were absolutely legendary last night - a 0% New Moon and freezing, crisp air that unlocked perfect clarity. The Milky Way was so dense and vibrant it was completely visible to the naked eye, stretching directly overhead into the treetops. If you look closely right above the center treeline, you can see a brilliant meteor burning through the atmosphere. Just to the lower left, tucked right above the branches, is the faint, mysterious oval glow of our neighboring Andromeda Galaxy.
Truly grateful to capture a night like this in the Yukon wilderness! 🌲
