I stop for the night out at the Stave Lake mud flats here in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
I think there must have been some pilot training in progress here. This helicopter flew over doing area assessments several times, performed a few 'touch and go' landings, and a couple of actual landings. What a beautiful "antique" of a machine though! I believe it is a Bell 47 which were made from the very late 1940's all the way through early 1970's.
