The timber wolf at Grouse Mountain walks the fence line, watching visitors and looking for illicit treats. It was raining and when he stopped to shake the water off his fur, I took a few snaps.

Picturesque views temp hikers as they make their way through the Mount Revelstoke National Park back country to Eva Lake and Jade Lake.
You pass by this view on the way to Heather Lake. Surprisingly, this was one of the few places in the park where the impact of haze was negligible. It's likely that the soft wind was blowing the haze away from this area.
This young male was one of a few to get into several territorial disputes over the morning. This was a calmer moment.
