This is a wall-sized display in the entrance of the Exploratorium. You can see both the chess pieces and the figures.

This is the first thing you see when you walk in. The illusion is very well done.

This is a view from below of some of the mechanical Geysers at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. They look like these 10-foot tall acrylic water towers (that is, a base with pipes and then a bowl-shaped, enclosed top), and have pressure and temperature gauges and spew every 15 minutes or so.

I rather liked the refraction of the lights from above.

I like how the bubble blows to the front and back.

The exploratorium is such a fun place for kids and adults that allow their inner child to come out and play. FUn can be had by all who visit!

The Palace of Fine Arts, built for the Panama Pacific Exhibition of 1915, has long been a symbol of San Francisco's faith in the future. After being restored in 1964, the Palace became the Exploratorium's home in 1969.
