Fireworks off Lupu Bridge during the Shanghai Expo 2010 opening ceremony. 30 April 2010. (A reduced-size file.)
My little brother and I decided to go take some pictures downtown Atlanta in an abandoned warehouse. We took a lot of shots, but this one in particular was the highlight. As you can see he is crushing this light tube against the post. I am about 20-30 feet back however when he hit the post, it exploded making a loud sound like a gun going off. The glass pieces flew at me cutting up my hands and putting some nice little scratches on my lens. Luckily they were in front of my face or it wouldn't look that good anymore =0 but enjoy.
