'Exploding' On Black

Just an experiment:: I mixed 5 different pictures in a HDR and tonemapped it with Photomatix. I know, technically speaking this is NOT hdr, I think I can call it MDR (Multiple Dinamic Range) becouse it starts from various dinamic ranges and their sequence are not going to "ordered" as in a normal HDR. To obtain the maximum result it's possible to study the histograms before, but I didnt in this case, I'll do it in the future, I saw that a limited dinamic range in the starting pics leads you at a good result, anyway, this is the first attempt. And I like it so much.

Not to brag but I think i did pretty well, for someone who forgot their tripod. lol :$

Aurora's exploded in the night skies on two nights. Two CME'S hit earth's Magnetic Field and triggered two nights of amazing Aurora's. Northern WI. March 17-18 2015. Dancing Beams and colors filled the night skies.

Thought I'd have a day off wildlife photography as I've been blasting about all over the place. So I've been gardening and washing windows! Took Eersel out for a walk this morning round Lother Lake. As per usual she charged round like a nutter so I took some pics!

Taken close to the point of impact. The airsoft rifle muzzle velocity was very inconsistent, so I was surprised I got this.

You may think this is a mistake but this is Art.

I had to upload this one as it was my best catch of the day as far as canon fire. I'm not sure why but the smoke cloud became over exposed causing it to appear white.

The edge of some local military ranges, the trees in the background have clearly been the victim of shelling with small howitzers or mortars in the past. Once you get a little closer you can see how fractured and broken they all are although some have recovered better than others.

My Father-in-Law and I had our cameras out shooting away while my Brother-in-Law shot this tomato. This is one of the pictures I came away with.

The timer went off right as my bubble exploded.

I thought it was kinda neat.

The fireworks display which took place over Walney Channel on October 23, 2010, to celebrate 50 years of nuclear submarines being built in Barrow-in-Furness.

The display marked half-a-century since the launch of HMS Dreadnaught in the town and was played out to music from the Dock Museum.

Thousands of people watched from the Dock Museum and the surrounding areas, including Walney Promenade.

We were on a car trip to a birthday and this shot is taken from a driving car...I needed to brush out some dirty parts of the car window but all in one it looked amazing! The second Windmill seems to explode/burn in the sundown :)

Sorry for the blurry shot but it's very difficult to take focused and sharp pictures while the Volcano does its work... But watch the red!!! impressive...
