Yummy sight in a lovely coffee shop in Roros, Norway.
This is a small and absolutely awesome town in the North of the country.
I had a hot tea and a slice of cake... but those muffins were also so tempting...
One of Zach's comic interpretations of a terribly-taken roll of black & white expired polaroid film. Greg's flaming bottle experiment gone awry.
Exploding Head Syndrome is a hardcore punk band from Oslo, Norway. The band hit the rehearsal space for the first time in the summer of 2010, and about a year later released their first recordings; a 7-tracks self-titled EP, which was well received by the norwegian press.
EHS describe their sound as “angry punk” and their lyrics deal with the stress and frustration of todays society. The band is highly influenced by american punk and british hardcore. Exploding Head Syndrome is renowned for their energetic live shows and in the last couple of years the band has toured Norway and has shared stage with bands like Satyricon, Oslo Ess and Blood Command.
On 9. October 2013 the band released their first full-length album Disciples of Reason on their own label Exploding Records. On the record they co-operated with producer Kenneth Ishak (Heyerdahl/Beezwax). The reception of the album has been great, and it has been hailed as the norwegian album of year by some critics.

Just an experiment:: I mixed 5 different pictures in a HDR and tonemapped it with Photomatix. I know, technically speaking this is NOT hdr, I think I can call it MDR (Multiple Dinamic Range) becouse it starts from various dinamic ranges and their sequence are not going to "ordered" as in a normal HDR. To obtain the maximum result it's possible to study the histograms before, but I didnt in this case, I'll do it in the future, I saw that a limited dinamic range in the starting pics leads you at a good result, anyway, this is the first attempt. And I like it so much.

Thought I'd have a day off wildlife photography as I've been blasting about all over the place. So I've been gardening and washing windows! Took Eersel out for a walk this morning round Lother Lake. As per usual she charged round like a nutter so I took some pics!
Photo taken of myself looking into a multi-faceted mirror at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Added expanding block effect in Photoshop.

Glass Christmas ornament filled with water and shot.
Taken close to the point of impact. The airsoft rifle muzzle velocity was very inconsistent, so I was surprised I got this.
The edge of some local military ranges, the trees in the background have clearly been the victim of shelling with small howitzers or mortars in the past. Once you get a little closer you can see how fractured and broken they all are although some have recovered better than others.
