From a pretty average morning a moment of light and colour..
Taken this morning at 10 to 7.

Mr Shaw described how he and his 85-year-old mother, Juliet, were in the house at about 4.30pm when he smelt burning, initially thinking it was his daughter's hair straighteners.The 50-year-old said: "I went to put it out with a bowl of water and as soon as I did this there was an almighty bang."Then the grass was on fire causing my slippers to light up.

First attempts at high speed photography
2 flash guns were used to light and freeze the action and the strawberry was shot with an air pistol
Audio trigger system was used to fire the flash guns built by Andrew Rose

The Milky Way core appears out of the clouds above the Alajuela landscape in north-western Costa Rica, with plants illuminated by the surrounding villages and light haze from towns beyond the mountains.
This guy is a true master at shooting bubbles in the wild, check out his photos, they are amazing.
He recently upped the bar and started shooting bubbles in mid burst. This really takes it to the next level of difficulty. I haven't taken any good ones yet, But I think the results are still kind of interesting. This is the right rear portion of the bubble, I thought it was weird how it was almost rectangular.
This is a Magic or exploding box, I made for a wedding my cousin is going to. She is giving the couple a cheque so I came up with this to hold the check. There are a few variations of this kind of box, I kind of mixed a few ideas together and here it is. I've added a LOT of photos to try and show all the details and angles.
I started by cutting the box and lid. I cut the inside and outside panels in cream CS, I ran them through the CB, and added pearls and punched flowers. I heat embossed the butterflies on acetate and filled in the wings with Stickles. I heat embossed the gold CS with the dots stamp using a glitter embossing powder.
