The relative size of the clouds in the DRC is difficult to describe. There were times it seemed they would overtake the horizon itself.

This particular afternoon two massive cumulus clouds moved rapidly across the landscape and as they did, light seemed to explode out of them at different angles.

It was absolutely breathtaking. No photo of mine could possibly do justice...

I saw a cool picture of someone spilling their coffee and thought I'd take a crack at it.

Of course, cappuccinos taste much better then a simple cup of coffee so spilling a cappuccino must look cooler as well right? At least that was my logic. And I had to drop a couple crackers into the mix to add a little framing. This was actually kind of fun... I might have to try it again.

Epic summer sunset on Lake Constance (town of Langenargen)

I was out a couple nights ago photographing this natural stone bridge, when a meteor flashed across the sky and exploded... right in the middle of my shot... AND I even had the shutter open! Lucky me!

After a stormy day, some nice waves were exploding on th rocks...

Cake done at my first PC course! Got a bit excited with colours hence the technicolour. It reminds me of a jester! Probably would've been nicer with just 2 or 3 shades of the 1 colour.

I'll walk ya through this real quick -

Look at Mamas ears, she's listening to

every movement I make while coming

down the steps at The Spirit House .....

Reason she's laying here is simple.Once

I'm close enough Mama will explode and

clear the path of all pesky primates ......;-)~

Cared for all the temple dogs today and here's

some very sad news about Pumpkin The Rascal.

Nuns didn't want to burden me with this and that's

why they always told no# 1 that Pumpkin was OK ?

Pumpkin is not in good shape at all. Without going

into graphic detail her monkey wound is infected !

She has lost a lot of weight and her once beautiful

fur is a total disaster.

I'm burned out from today's run so this means only

one option. Tomorrow I'll check to see if the money

from donations has arrived. If so another run out to

get Pumpkin will happen. She MUST get to the clinic.

I feel guilty for not doing a hands on followup.

This is my responsibility and will be corrected

soon if not sooner.

Thank You.

So... I always rack my mind on how to make a firework shot original. I think I figured it out, Explosions!! This shot was all luck, I was chimpin when I saw the back of the camera.

A tiny little 7 inch orange mud cake for my FIL. We are celebrating Mother's Day, my grandson Oliver's birthday and Rob's birthday today. It's a bit of a sugar overload at my place!!!!!

We stopped along the coast where there were waves colliding from three different directions sending some amazing plumes of water into the air. Large is best.

Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.

happy happy new year, everyone!!! hoping for an amazingly uplifting 2019!!!!

Just a closer version of the same scene. This time I used a 28-135mm lens. The last shot was a 10-22mm, thus the different perspective.

The scene is the Fore River Power Station on the Fore River in Quincy, Massachusetts.
