Si showed us the new practice rooms in the Serkin Center for the Arts at Marlboro, and told us of the work he's doing to pave the way for an a capella singing group.
Unusual title I know :)
Let me explain :)
2 years ago, my belolved cat, Sylvi, passed away. Actually, she passed away the day before my birthday.
I miss her so much :(
She got sick several days before. Eventually, it looked like cancer.
We decided she should be put down - she was miserable and it didn't seem right to keep her in suffering for another moment!
Anyway, so after she died we buried her in the patch of bush behind our house. It's technically the gov's land, but we wanted to be able to come back and vist her once we've left this house.
We planted a native Totara over her, so that she could help something new to grow.
This is the Totara.
Going strong with lots of new shoots.
A good new beginning in my opinion :)
