2nd round / Fullspectrum Experiments:
More pictures! These are from the same last outing yesterday with the same camera, lens and filter setup. Here I applied „proper“ white balance (on the birches bark, simply) and look what I got. Again it's that almost velvia like green and high saturation over all. Actually this is what I found using UV-IR cut filters on this camera some time ago. I already experimentet with this - for some reason I need a diffusor, else I get some strange color artifacts on the edges. I don't know the physics really, but possibly it acts like an AA Filter? Anyway, this „film simulation“ is nice. When adding this Tiffen 812 like warming filter, blue gets subtle, too.
I got a Wacom intuos4 tablet for christmas so im playing with it.. pretty pleased with this but not sure what i can do with it now...

I've been experimenting with image transfering onto felt and silkscreen fabric. I used wintergreen oil on the silkscreen fabric and transfer marker on the felt. Then I sewed the pieces together on my sewing machine.
Here you can see I printed with red and yellow oil based inks. The red and yellow seemed to mix together to create orange.
A change in coloured ink can communicate a range of different emotion.
U.S. Army and Intel conduct a scalability virtual world experiment to test technology of the Distributed Scene Graph with people doing roleplay and inclusion of bot technologies.
Did a quick modification and can now fit a roll of 35mm in a spare Hasselblad A12 back.
If you're going to try doing this I'd suggest using a bulk roller and rolling a custom sized roll of film because the 36 exposure roll ended up with a lot of wasted film after all 12 exposures on the back were complete.
I said it was hot enough to fry an egg outside so Echo went straight out to the front yard with an egg and tinfoil. Man, his fingernails are DIRTY! He's been playing outside, doing projects and experiments...
Experimented with a different look here. No layers applied here; simply some exposure tweaking and mild contrast adjustments.
Experimenting with a false aperture to shape my bokeh. This was one of my worst shots but there's something about his little face here that I love.
The model was my cat Belly.
Another busy day!!!
Our Science Surfers experiments are always astonishing
and kids were indeed surprised with density tower they made today.
They also enjoyed collaging the UAE national flag craft.
Basketball during their outdoor play was awesome.
Kids enjoyed circle time reviewing numbers and Phonics.
They acted as mail carriers delivering White Fields mails during pretend play.
They were very surprised to see how Pepsi drink exploded after adding baking soda during the science experiment.
It was a great day for us at White fields Nursery.
Notice the fence posts poking up through the grass? These are remnants from the early Danish settlers who homesteaded and raised cattle here on the very northern tip of Vancouver Island. This photo is at Experiment Bight in Cape Scott Provincial Park.
