Golf at the Wagga Experiment Farm: McDiarmid on his back swing.

ink tank experiments, taken by putting drops of red & black ink into a fish tank & taking a macro photograph using vintage tamron adaptall 105/2.5mm lens on extension tubes on 5dii & lit with studio flashes
I didn't want to disturb anything. Looks like insect traps and rainfall collectors (Biodiversity vs pollution study?)
Given that this is not a controlled experiment and by no means is it conclusive or in any way a degradation of either lens and that this is purely a personal visual interpretation conducted with my specific camera the 5D MarkIII using 2 different lenses - 17-4L series Canon F4 and the 12-24 Sigma 4.5 to 5.6 here are the results. I picked 1 image from both lenses as closest to time value. The ISO was the same. The tripod is in the same position. The focal lengths are different. I have taken both images into Camera Raw hit the auto button and straightened them - no lens adjustment.
The images were taken 2 minutes apart. Consideration needs to be given to external factors such as different focal lengths and or movement, etc. My personal preference is for the Sigma 12-24. See what you think.
Connectivity and readymade practice : experimenting, manipulating and combining daily life objects in order to attempt, to force or to mystify a workable connection between them, at least to make it visible and/or possible. This exercise is to be considered as a warm-up, a first step towards a further installation or project.

This is an experiment that I did 12 years ago with a Leaf DCB II Life. The original goal was the Yxy of my former company as logo letters, but this was so much fun to do we did a lot more. This was hanging around my harddrives for some time, I actually never used it, so here as a premiere on Flickr
FUCHSIAS/FUSCHIAS....EXPERIMENT
This is an old painting I was never satisfied with, so I decided to use it as an experiment with Unryu Rice paper.
I tore the rice paper into interesting shapes and laid the rice paper over the painting.
I diluted Acrylic Matte Medium by 50% with water. Using an old brush I painted the Matte Medium over the rice paper until it adhered to the
painting.
I like the interest the rice paper threads give to this painting.
The painting is Mixed Media using Watercolor, Ink, and Oil pastels.
This is another idea from Rose Edin's book ''COLOR HARMONIES...PAINT WATERCOLORS FILLED WITH LIGHT''
I spelled Fuchsias/Fuschias two ways because I find that there are now two acceptable ways to spell it!!!!
I guess it is kinda like Ketchup...if you spell something ''wrong'' long enough, society will eventually accept/change it.
Maybe some of you might be old enough to remember when ''Ketchup'' was spelled ''Catsup"...:) :)
My photography experiences and skills are being expanded by a strobist course at Garage Studios in Brighton.
Thanks to eBay and a local camera shop I'm able to play with lighting stands, off-camera flash, gels and light set-up
Here is the result of an experiment from this morning.
Thanks and respect
