Picnik came out with some new touch up tools so I thought I'd give them a try. I used dodging, highlights, eye color, eye bright, blemish fix, wrinkle remover, shine-be-gone, clone, airbrush, sunless tan, blush, mascara, and lipcolor.
Now that I've experimented with these I've come to the conclusion that, with some tweaking and practice, many of these tools could be very useful. I've also come to the conclusion that they should never be used all at once because the end result isn't realistic enough for my liking.
Clone is great for getting rid of those dark circles under my eyes that I've been blessed with by my mother (thanks for that, ma). I always use blemish to get rid of my acne and a couple freckles. The wrinkle remover was awesome for my neck area. Airbrush, sunless tan and eye color are okay if you use them very lightly. Shine-be-gone is a must for me since my nose is oily (that one's from my dad). And blush is not for me since I naturally have pink cheeks. Oh yeah, and the highlights are perty shweet.
I'm not sure which picture is creepier....lol!
A few days I experiment with my new camera Olympus620E!Have 2 lens ,this is 40-150mm and I'm pleased with it!
Voronoi experiment, what if I use also the rgb-values and count a '5D' distance, in this case subtracting the colors : d² = Δx²+Δy²-0.25(Δr²+Δg²+Δb²)
Interesting behaviour I think: it seems to seach nearby for a very different color on each pixel
The cheapest adapter rings available are very good material for experiments with a lathe and producing totally new objective+camera combinations...
A vacuum tube behind a phosphor screen makes it glow green from the X-rays it's emitting.
Check experiment 2 for details of the setup - here I changed the exposure settings of the camera to try and get a less noisy exposure with more contrast.

Divided up into five groups, young people take a close-up look at social reality. What’s the deeper meaning of the terms trust, humanity, social innovation and resilience? These concepts occupied the attention of Red Cross founder Henri Dunant, and are still deserving of consideration today.

The Sixth Sense Activation Sequence -GROUNDBREAKING New Book in 2012!
The Sixth Sense leads to Enlightenment
DNA Healing Code - Hardwired in ALL Humans
As an example of what I mean by “Groundbreaking” info that can be found in the 2012 release of my new book on The Sixth Sense (not yet titled )…..
There is a sequence required to communicate with Infinite Intelligence – to gain insight and/or much more complicated yet achievable, HolisticDNA Energy Healing. The sequence is on multiple levels, not just “step by step” like an instruction manual for assembling a piece of furniture.
The “Key” sequence has to do with applying known facts, beliefs, and faith (not religious) – if not applied exactly as detailed, the Sixth Sense will remain dormant, and not be “activated”. As an example:

you won’t find this in any existing text, which is why The Sixth Sense is so rarely utilized and hard to confirm. This will allow the Scientific Community to experiment and confirm my claims — remember, just a few decades ago, it was impossible to have a Man walk on the moon. Time for the next impossible to be challenged and confirmed — real

I experimented in the kitchen with something ... yes the kitchen is still there and this is what I got - Veal Vilanese and a Peas/Lettuce Salad with a tangy mustard sour cream dressing. The story and recipe can be found here.

World Party Instagramers – We Need Your Support
Starting as an experiment and ending as a big party! From May 21st to 29th, Germany will host the so-called »Aktionswoche Alkohol« (»Drug Action Week«) – an event promoting responsible drinking. We – the team of Kointer.de – have come up with something special and hope for worldwide support via Instagram.
Kointer.de stands for KODROBS on the internet – the first contact and drug counseling center on the internet for Hamburg people – and is part of the addiction recovery institution »jugend hilft jugend« Hamburg (»youth helping youth«).
What does it have to do with IG?
We dare to perform the following experiment: 42 hours on the social web dealing with alcohol consumption by interacting via Instagram, Foursquare, Twitter, Flickr, Facebook...
During this time, the team of KOINTER will roam the city of Hamburg as well as the world wide web and will interact with inhabitants and users in the virtual and the real world.
And what do we want you to do?
What you are good at – taking pictures. From May 27th 12:00 noon (respective local time) to May 29th 6 am (respective local time), every Instagramer is invited to post and/or tag photos on the subject of party, alcohol, and having fun – of course non-drinking is welcome. Show us your real life – without a wagging finger – by shooting pictures of varying moods on different continents, party scenes, places, diverse beverages and so on.
Please follow the IG account @Kointer during this period in order to get updates, status messages , and information on highlights. However, it's most important that you tag all picures with #Kointer. In addition, it'd be great if you signed your country code with a second hashtag, i.e. #Kointer_DE for Germany, #Kointer_US for the United States.
Maybe we manage to create the world's biggest party photo docusoap. But anyways, we're gonna have lots of fun and share this with everyone.

World Party Instagrammers – Wir brauchen Eure Hilfe
Das was Ihr so fantastisch könnt – Fotos.

Connectivity and readymade practice : experimenting, manipulating and combining daily life objects in order to attempt, to force or to mystify a workable connection between them, at least to make it visible and/or possible. This exercise is to be considered as a warm-up, a first step towards a further installation or project.

Impossible PX 70 Color Shade. I'm a newbie to polaroid, but I'm learning to let go and just have fun. Which is hard when you're as uptight as me. :)
This is another experiment at pushing files through Photomatix to create HDR images.
For this, three exposures (-1,0,+1) were taken using a Nikon D80 and then the NEF (RAW) files were converted to TIFF files before being processed in Photomatix.
I did try to batch process the original RAW files, but that produced a strange green hue which, while "artistic" was not exactly the effect I was looking for :-).
