On my way home yesterday, I stopped to finish up my roll of Delta 3200 at this waterfall. This photo was the result of some experimentation with new compositions. I'm not entirely sure if I prefer this straight on comp over being at more of an angle. Either way, it's always great to get out with the camera and create something.

A couple of canuck visitors fly south at nearly 60mph down the M&M Sub near the town of Atmore, Alabama, yesterday. The big ET44AH motors were on the head end of CSX X800-08 going back to the CN in New Orleans after their reopening of Nola. 1/6th of a second on the shutter speed lets us peer into the woods and capture the blur at 57mph on the nose.

Another photo from the PMT archive, this time showing two buses, a 1967 Roadliner and a 1969 Leopard outshopped in an all-over medium/dark red in lieu of NBC 'Poppy'. Its tempting to speculate that this was the red used by PMT for many years, but without cream (or in NBC's case, white) relief. If memory serves me correctly, there was a third bus similarly outshopped, one of the 1970 Alexander bodied single deck Daimler Fleetlines and which happened to be the one which PMT supplied to take part in the nationally aired TV advert of the day. Needless to say, the 'experiment' wasn't perpetuated.
