Hobbiton, Matamata, New Zealand.
A new and exciting development for visitors to the Alexander Family Farm is the Sheep Farm Experience. This is an educational and interactive show, offering you an insight into rural life and sheep farming in New Zealand.
Here on the most picturesque private farmland near Matamata in the North Island of New Zealand, you can visit the remnants of the original Hobbiton village set from The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy in a fascinating two-hour guided tour.
The Hobbiton movie set has been returned to its natural state. However, 17 of the original 37 hobbit holes and some structures from the film set are still present. There are spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges from the rolling green hills of the movie set, which is still a working sheep and beef farm.

"Once Upon a Time there was an Enchanted Hollow under the glow of the Hunter's Moon. It was there that tales gathered: tales of struggle and virtue, of light and looming darkness. They settled in as cooling breezes whirled the falling leaves, nestling between the autumnal heights and that place where the brook waters blend with the salty sea. Some thrive, some expire, and some twist themselves just a little."
Haunted Hollow features stories, music, live trick or treat, hunts, pony rides, and a region of fun to explore.
Take the rambler tours (aerial or ground based) of the Hollow, or stop by for one of the trick or treat events hosted by Elite Equestrian. Join Seanchai Library as they present hours of stories for the season, including an encore presentation of Ray Bradbury's "The Halloween Tree." Explore the caves and discover video screening spots. **Please set your environment to shared for best effects**

The glaciers and ice caps of Iceland cover 11.1% of the land area of the country and have a considerable impact on its landscape and meteorology.
While most of the people step into the glacier, I had the chance to witness its underneath beauty: the crystal blue ice. After walking in icy water and not feeling my feet, I got deeper in what it seems to be a centuries old ice cave.
The air is the purest I ever breathed. I even licked the ice to test it :)
Every year, people die trying to explore the heart of the glacier as most of the caves collapse. The perfect time to enter such a cave is during winter as the summer temperatures makes the caves very dangerous. I must admit the it was a very pleasant once-a-life-experience.
With just a splash of autumn colour remaining on a beech tree in the woods at Lumb, Standard 4 no. 80080 works a 'Footplate Experience' train northwards towards Rawtenstall on the morning of the 22nd November 2013.
The different textures of this stump caught my attention and so I went a little off trail to get it.
I met this cute little blue-eyed guy after our dog sled experience in Lapland.
This one will begin to work in about six months... but for now, it's only "hug time" for him :)
As you can guess, it was not something hard to hug and kiss him all the time! (Girls, don't go there with your boyfriend... there will be some jealousy in the air :P)

Flynn's manners have improved somewhat over the years but he isn't quite civilised enough for public transport ;-) It is hard to say whether he'd be very excited, or very upset by the experience of travelling by train but I DO suspect he would feel strongly about it one way or the other. Flynn tends to expresses his emotions clearly - & loudly! Either way, I rather suspect we'd end up getting thrown off by a very angry train guard & then have to walk back home in sad disgrace! So, no train rides for Flynnie!
However, our local station is really tiny - just 2 platforms & only a couple of trains depart each hour. As it's not too big, or generally very busy (at least, not when we're there), Flynn sometimes gets to come & sit at the station, to meet a friend off the train. When I took this, the train we were waiting for was running a little late. Flynn now knows which direction it comes from, so he just sat in quivering silence & stared fixedly down the tracks for about 10 minutes straight, listening & watching intently.
He always very kindly lets any & all waiting hoomans know when their train is about to arrive - by barking his head off the second he hears the rumble of the engine & sees the glow of lights, as it exits the final tunnel (which is under where the trees dip down). He doesn't stop yelling & jumping around, until he'd sees the person we're waiting for is on the platform - then I get dragged off to greet them. He barks so loudly that my friend has said she can hear him from inside the carriage, as it comes to a halt, which is quite an achievement! Flynn's wild over excitement about the train arriving often makes other departing passengers smile & laugh... he is ridiculously over the top. (Haha, although of course this sort of reaction is exactly why Flynn isn't getting on the train himself - what is amusing for 2 minutes isn't as fun if you're trapped in a rattling, moving box with no escape until the next station! Life is certainly very exciting when you're a border collie!!

The Audi R8 is the perfect blend of multi-sporting experience, technology and unconventional design.
I still designed the 6 wide version, and I tried my best to present the overall characteristics of the car to make the appearance of the R8 more obvious.
