This is a fabulous overhead light-show in downtown Las Vegas. A two block area in the middle of all of the old casinos is blocked off. There's a two-block by 40 foot overhead animated light show. You can see a couple of the tree-like supports holding it about 30 feet overhead. There are a couple million lights, with computer coordinated music and images moving up and down the two-block screen. For about 10 minutes every hour, you are treated to a different spectacular show. Well worth a trip downtown.
This is not a projection, it is computer-controlled, millions of small lights changing colors. It moves as smooth and fast as a video game screen. The area in the picture is about 10% of the 2-block long set of lights. This section is 30 feet overhead, and about 100 feet by 40 feet.

I took these photos at Guelph Lake MTB trails. The spot where I shot these photos at is along "Devil's Backbone", which for those of you that are familiar with the trails, is just off "Grand Trunk Trail".
I have been planning on shooting this sweet spot (where the apples have fallen onto the trail along a green section right dab in the middle of pines trees) for awhile now. Originally I was just going to shoot it without any people in it. But having the opportunity to shoot some really good riders zipping through it was to good to pass up! It just kinda fell together this evening unexpectedly. But hey, can't complain. I ended up getting some good stuff!
