I had my first maternity shoot today. I'm not very good at things that involve posing people and even when I try to stock up on ideas ahead of time, it generally takes about 30 seconds until I'm all "uhh...now what should we do?" Gotta keep practicin' I guess.
I'm going to be a Grandma!
My daughter-in-law emailed me a photo of the first sonogram.
A little person is growing and becoming. This is my redition of God's confession over each person and especially over this child who will belong to our family.

328/365 ~ Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds. ~Theodore Roosevelt
So happy to get to celebrate Thanksgiving again, this time with Amanda and Dustin, too! I am thanks for my wonderful parents and my great kids and that we are all able to be together. — with Amy Luanne Roberts, Sheldon Hipps and Amanda Kristine Roberts.
Even though you don't expect them all to survive, it is very difficult to lose them. Lost one yesterday and another today. Don't know what happened to yesterday's one - doesn't seem visible in the nest. You can just make out today's one by its beak in the bottom left corner. The other four are like little aeroplanes ready and primed to fly (we think about Saturday), although the weather here is terrible for fledging.
Global propionic acid market is expected to reach USD 1.53 billion by 2020, according to a new study by Grand View Research, Inc. Animal feed application dominated the propionic acid market accounting for over 50% of global demand in 2013. Increasing demand for mold & bacteria curbing additives in animal feed coupled with growing concern for improving animal nutrition is expected to drive market growth.
Europe was the largest regional market accounting for over 35% of global propionic acid market demand in 2013. Favorable regulatory scenario along with growing food preservative & animal feed market in the region has favored propionic acid demand over the past few years. The regional market is expected to continue dominance over the forecast period on account of new market supporting regulations and expanding niche applications including herbicides & bakery preservatives. ‘The European Union Hygiene Directive’ by REACH aims towards maintaining hygiene and quality of mixed-feed products and is expected to fuel propionic acid market growth over the next six years.

Further key findings from the study suggest:
Global propionic acid market demand was 399.4 kilo tons in 2013 and is expected to exceed 470.0 kilo tons by 2020, growing at an estimated CAGR of 2.7% from 2014 to 2020.
North America propionic acid market accounted for over 28% of global demand in 2013 and is estimated to lose share to high growth regions such as Asia Pacific. Asia Pacific market is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 3% from 2014 to 2020 owing to expanding animal feed additives industry in Australia, India and China. Chinese propionic acid market is characterized by growing demand in food preservatives and pharmaceuticals.
Calcium & sodium propionate was the second largest application segment accounting for over 18% of the global demand in 2013 and is estimated to grow at a CAGR of over 2.5% from 2014 to 2020. Increasing packed food consumption due to changing lifestyle is expected to drive calcium & sodium propionate demand in food preservatives.
Propionic acid market comprises some major chemical manufacturing firms and is moderately consolidated. The market participants have been investing heavily on capacity expansions and application development. Some key players in the market include BASF, Eastman Chemical Company, Dow, Perstorp and Biomin Holdings GmbH.

I'd have expected a sim called Crystal Palace to have something to do with the architectural marvel built for an exhibition in England in the 19th century; there's at least one replica someplace else in SL. Or perhaps to have crystal there. Or maybe a palace. I mean... it's SL. Why the heck not? Crystal Palace sim is an ordinary residential/commercial island, though, with suburban houses, suburban churches with evangelical signs out front, and... penguins. I don't know why there are penguins here, but I thought I'd hang with them while I fished.
The place does have its quirks, though, such as levitation. I'm a fairy, so I'm used to it. But here, the penguins levitate, too. Even the 7Seas vendor levitates. Maybe the place isn't so ordinary after all.
No custom catches here. No music stream. But there are penguins.
Been working through Wrong Turn customs. One of the folders I made is labeled "obscure reference bears." She's got a bunch of baseball bears, soccer bears, bears with random props.. but then there are things like "Romano and Rivera Bear." I googled it and found nothing. Did an in-world search and an estate office and group came up. Eleven members in the group. I must have fished on their land at some point. Into the Obscure Reference Bear folder it goes.
HoF #347 today.
