A Magpie-lark perched on the back of the park bench where I sat. She must have expected food to come out of my bag when I opened it to re-pack my camera otherwise I don't think she would have perched so close or stayed so long.

Who would expect that our mummy tribe circle would continue to this level of friendship especially now with kids and all. I am so happy that we are talking about education. Pushing and encouraging each other. Best seh the feeling especially when your mummy comrade also has the same plans as you. So inspired by you babe. We were talking about the AL scoring system and how we’re starting to feel the pinch slightly. Lol. Anak Shahirah ni memang mashaAllah bijak since young. Banyak sangat learn from her. Our outcome is to raise quality sons. We have daughters too, but dengan anak perempuan, kita lain sikit. Hehe. Semoga anak-anak kita berjaya dunia akhirat babes. ❤️
This World Class attraction was everything we expected and more. Construction has just begun on a major expansion, but that has been managed in such a way that it does not in any way detract from the experience now.
This album focuses on the artwork inside the buildings and on the other interior spaces including the Eleven Restaurant and the Gift Shop. A separate album posted a few days ago is devoted to the two April mornings that we spent exploring just some of the trails that crisscross the 120 acres of Arkansas forest around the museum.
Alice Walton and her co-creative team can be proud of the vision and execution of everything on this 120 acre site.

"Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a museum of American art in Bentonville, Arkansas. The museum, founded by Alice Walton and designed by Moshe Safdie, officially opened on 11 November 2011. It offers free public admission.
Alice Walton, the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton, spearheaded the Walton Family Foundation's involvement in developing Crystal Bridges. The museum's glass-and-wood design by architect Moshe Safdie and engineer Buro Happold features a series of pavilions nestled around two creek-fed ponds and forest trails. The 217,000 square feet complex includes galleries, several meeting and classroom spaces, a library, a sculpture garden, a museum store designed by architect Marlon Blackwell, a restaurant and coffee bar, named Eleven after the day the museum opened, "11/11/11". Crystal Bridges also features a gathering space that can accommodate up to 300 people. Additionally, there are outdoor areas for concerts and public events, as well as extensive nature trails. It employs approximately 300 people, and is within walking distance of downtown Bentonville."

We didn't expect to be impressed by yet another multifunction printer, but Kodak's ESP 5 All-in-One Printer made monkey's out of us anyway. $169.99 just doesn't seem like enough money for a scanner/printer that's happy to work directly from your SD card and comes with its own display to let you edit shots. Normally though, we don't care for inkjet printers because they're slow and expensive to run, so the part that really had appeal was the 30/29 page per minute spec, along with some impressive ink economy figures.
"Kodak is delivering on its promise to end ink profiteering and to bring people affordable, premium ink with the introduction of the new KODAK ESP 5 All-in-One printer," said Randy Brody, worldwide marketing director, Inkjet Systems at Kodak. "We are focusing on delivering easy-to-use products that provide superb-quality and save up to 50 percent on everything they print compared to similar consumer inkjet printers*." Sounds good to us.

I keep expecting to run out of interesting things to photograph, but it hasn't happened yet. My output dropped off quite a bit in the last four months 2007 because of changes to my schedule. I also, finally, made the switch to DSLR mid-year, replacing my trusty Canon PowerShot G5 with a Nikon D40.
Happy new year, all!

For 30 Seconds Of Thrill On TV Or An Attempt To Give Voice To The Unheard ??? .
'What was tha benefitofshowing black flags-just30 seconds on TV. The protestors are like those who strip themselves naked while intoxicated bybhang; they ware intoxicated by30 seconds ofadventure...I congratulate the NSUI andABVP; .
theywere farmore restrained than one expected.'-a speaker at last night's public meeting held by JNUSU .
Showing black flags is being compared to stripping oneself naked. Let's ask ourselves, what was the point when the .
women of Manipur stripped themselves naked to protest Manorama's rape and murder last year? Was itfor publicity, .
'adventure' or sensationalism? .
People of the entire North East suffered and struggled against State repression and a draconian killer law .
like AFSPA forfifty years. Ifthe mothers ofManipur had not stripped themselves naked to protest against the .
AFSPA last year, would AFSPA ever have been forced onto the political consciousness of the nation? .
Friends, those who rule us have a habit ofdenying and ignoring issues until forced to face questions in thepublicgaze. Ifthe Government is not questioned by the public, it will continue to sell out India's sovereignty by helping the US to ' ofdisrupting a PM's speech-.
target Iran. The show of black flags by students was not for the 'childish thrill.
our highest elected representative accountable to public questioning on questions of supreme nationaldisruption was neverthe intention. It was in fact the highest exercise of democracy by a citizen-by holding .
interest. In those 30 seconds, the slogans and black flags of students told the entire world that in India, a Prime Minister must face questions of students if the Patent Amendments Act, AFSPA and US arm-twisting are allowed to rule the land .
Last night, the JNUSU held a Public Meeting 'In Defence ofOur Democratic Culture', addressed by several members of the .
teaching community. This could have been a welcome move to allow the JNU community to discuss and debate the issues involved. But how much democracy was followed in this meeting? What were the ways in which democracy was defined? We respect the right ofteachers anc1 students to hold views that are sharply critical ofours; but we feel the need to point out .
the disturbing implications ofsome of the-views. .
In the Public Meeting, some speakers condemned the students who waved black flags; one teacher said waving black flags .
and shouting slogans was a right of students and an acceptable mode of protest. But most speakers were united in the .
.
opinion that if the JNUSU Council's had taken a decision not to protest in front of the PM, students should not have protested. Let us examine these propositions: .
Myth of Union Decision .
When and where did the.Union 'decide'? It is a matter of concern that in the JNUSU public meeting, the elected .
Councillor from AISA was not allowed to make a statement but w as given barely one minute to ask a question while a former JNUSU Presidentbelonging to SF/ was allowed to speak for 20 minutes! The AISA Councillor wished to point out the following: .
The JNUSU VP, in a meeting with the VC; had assured the Admin. that there would be no protest, before any .
Council Meeting was called to discuss the matter. The Council meeting held the next evening was also .
In other words, the JNUSU was treated by the VP as an appendage of SFI -and an unconstitutional.
unconstitutional since it was notconvened with the 24-hour minimum notice required byJNUSU Constitution. Council Meeting was used to ratify an assurance that the VP had already given beforehand. .
Even in the unconstitutional Council Meeting, no room was left for issues raised by the AISA Councillor to be .
included in the JNUSU 'memorandum'. As a result, opposition to AFSPA and Patent Act did not figure in .
the memorandum. .
Are all students bound on Ideological issues by a majority decision in the JNUSU? This is a distorted understanding .
'Union decision'. This will mean that ofdemocracy-which silences issues ofideological debate in the name of .
all dissent will be gagged and muzzled because the Union is of a particular political persuasion. Consider some .
examples: In 1990, a UGBM m JNU passed a resolution opposing Mandai Commission reservations. Yet, radical students continued to defend Mandai while facing physical violence by right-wing forces. Recall1996: the Union with a powerful ABVP presence did notagree to opposing Advani's visit. Yet, a thousand students rejected the Union position and .
asserted their right to protest. In DU, the DUTA has often been dominated by the right-wing, which invanably passes resolutions against reservations. Far from being bound by such resolutions. Le'ft teachers boldly asserttheirstruggle .
to implement SC/ST quotas. Take the example of last year: the majority in the Union Council supported NesUe-yet .
hundreds of students rejected that position and mobilised a counter opinion to kick Nestle out. .
Some speakers yesterday mentioned the fact that in 1981, PM Indira Gandhi was stopped from giving her speech-the .
JNUSU led by SFI then led the protest against her visit. Why did the JNUSU led by SFI justify this protest then, .
c :s ; .
while vetoing the proposal to protest against Manmohan now? Some speakers said that the JNUSU in 1981 took .

Blimey, never expected such a busy looking little interior. Don't think I have seen so many memorials (pomp) in one small church. I actually loved it! As I tried the door I found it locked, I was about to do my usual grumbles and moans when I spied the little sign telling me to use the other door (Priests Door) This is a must if you are a tourist looking for a lovely little church! Spent quite some time here, the views over the hills is lovely too. I am sure a sheep actually growled at me!!!
