I haven't been to my hometown in a very long time.
You tend to hype up what home was in relation to what it really is.
Enjoy the fact that you are going home but lower your expectations... it's not as grandiose as your mind has made it into.

Yesterday, we had some snow less than what the forecast predicted—at least in our area. Went outdoors early in the morning to take/make some shots. It was 10 below freezing and my mittens were ineffective. I still feel the tingling at the tip of the button-pressing finger. Stay warm!

Bhandara is the term used mostly in Hindu caste and some other communities to describe the free meal served to the people invited to the temple. Food is cooked and served to the people sitting right outside the temple. Usually this is done on festival occasions as a part of worshipping the lord.

All the activities of the county life stop for the long cold winter. Just the rays of still cold but a bit brighter sunlight let us feel the spring is near.

Great expectations is an Elbow track, and every time i go down to the coast I've got such great expectations. Sometimes they're based on a great sky, sometimes more in hope. This was a more in hope day that just gave a few fantastic minutes. The beauty is never knowing how long these magical moments will last.
