This juvenile Eared Grebe gave me a great show flapping and stretching. Perhaps he was exercising his wings for the long flight south for his winter vacation. Taken at Weed Lake, east of Calgary, Alberta. I will catch up with everyone later.
Thank you for your visit and comments. They are very much appreciated.
Museums are excellent places to do abstract, that's why I love to survey museums when I visit a new city. That's where I can exercise my observation and test out perspectives. Great places for creativity, believe it or not. This picture was taken in Denver Museum of Arts.
One lonely Marbled Godwit surrounded by Black-belied Plovers exercising it's wings staying loose incase of a quick get a way. This is at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Smyrna, DE. Lots of birds, but you need an extender or big lens with a tripod. Most everything is so far out. It was a good fun day.

Not to sound too defensive, but please know that this was a completely staged shot. I certainly do not work out as often as I should, but I never use my exercise bike as a wardrobe. However, that being the cliché, I could not resist the portrayal for today’s photo.

This is on my playlist of workout songs. It has a great rhythm for bicycling!

While out for a jog, I came across these two sportspeople doing their thing in the early mourning sun. One was running into the sun while the other was cycling away from it.
