Excercising much more caution than the Wagonmaster, Theresa and I caught this patched Santa Fe unit leading a stack train on the old Santa Fe (now BNSF) mainline along the Sanitary & Ship canal. It was about to run under the E. Romeo Rd bridge across the canal. Taken from sidewalk on bridge

I thought I heard a groan.

"Miss Lily, are you OK? This may not be the best way to start an excercise program."

A lighting excercise using 3 or 4 different light sources and matching the controls to get correct exposure overall.

A slightly different angle on the last one but I included two screens to make the exposure a little more challenging. (Although I did cheat a little and turned the brightness down on the laptop) This proved to be successful and got the results I was after.

You may notice a tiny bit of light leakage on the bottom left of the shot, personally I don't mind that as the purpose of these shots was to get many diffenrent colour temperatures into one shot so this just adds another element to the photo.

Today's photo continues my exercise series (i.e. all photos taken while I was in motion on a 4 mile walk through the parks in downtown Greenville). This photo shows a foot bridge crossing the Reedy River. The photo also shows a heavy growth of kudzu, a non-native plant which is very invasive and if not fought will kill trees and consume homes. Also, I have provided this extra photo showing the fella in the river which you can also see in today's featured photo. I really have no idea what he was doing. Maybe cooling off. It was hot.
