My one daily excercise walk due to the restriction of the Coronavirus takes me past this bridge in Sutton Bonington from where I am staying. Luckily this test train just happened to be passing.
As Fleetwood Mac once sang:
Can't help it about the shape I'm in
Can't sing' I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
Don't ask me what I think of you
Might not give the answer that you want me to.
Wearing rubber dresses certainly keeps me fit as even with enough talc or special lube it is both a stuggle to put them on and roll them off afterwards but I'm sure you will agree it's worth it.
The government suggest an hour a day excerising outside the house is enough to keep mind and body intact. Social distancing must be observed and since all non-essential travel is banned the miles of beaches in Morecambe are largely deserted. I've had a hankering after living in a city again in recent years. I miss the hustle and bustle and culture of city life that's difficult to find living out in the sticks. On days like this, during times like this I'm glad to have this kind of space on my doorstep.
Taken on the Stornoway to Ullapool ferry. The first time I have seen this a) when I had my camera with me and b) it was not raining!!
Another excercise in building from a doodle, and I'm very pleased. Not with my drawing, that's still not brilliant. I like to hope that I'm improving though.
I know the sketch has those cool prong-y bits that stretch from the engine to just under the cockpit, but they don't look anywhere near as neat on the real thing, so I scrapped them.
But anyway, I built a spaceship. There's a shocker, huh? Something different next though, I promise. Well, promise is a strong word. Maybe, just maybe, it won't have wings. There. Satisfied?
With the tail end of the summer season, a lot more Coaster buses have been popping up on the 13X, and I decided to try the route out.
My driver towards Eastbourne was pretty heavy-footed and led to some fast driving on the flatter bits on the Tourist Trail portions, which was surprising giving the gutless reputation of these small-engined deckers.
