Bootcamp consists of running, press ups, squat jumps, bunny hops, kettle bells and the dreaded Murder Hill... A steep sand dune which really works the legs.
Whilst the excercise part is pretty tortuous and strenuous, the atmosphere is friendly and motivating, with kids and dogs welcome to join in, and finishing with a well earned BBQ

strobist.com excercise 3: apparent light size
The setup (bottom right) was kept static (except for the stupid fruit (?) rolling on the chair); I varied the zoom settings of the sb600 and diffused the light with other objects.
I used manual exposition and next time I guess it's time for manual white balance as well as the camera seems to miscalculate that sometimes.
top row:
* 24mm zoom, 1/32
* 50mm zoom, 1/32
* 85mm zoom, 1/32
bottom row:
* 14mm zoom, using the internal diffusor thingy of the flash, still on 1/32
* using a homemade shoot-through-umbrella made from paper, compensating for power at 1/16
